My first concert.I was 16 years old and high as a kite. Good times and good friends. I thought ace was good. Singer wore a hard hat

Joe from Jarvis is right, Ace was booed off the stage. I don't know what show Bill saw. The crowd was tough and totally drugged out (including me.) I kinda felt sorry for Ace. The stadium bathroom was a horror show. I also saw Pink Floyd there that summer and people were passed out in the dugout while people were pissing on them because the bathrooms were terrible. Also, there was a guy who climbed a tower but froze when he got a bit high. People in the crowd started yelling "Jump! Jump!" People wanted him to jump and kill himself. Like I said, tough crowd.

Three of us drove from Stratford CT in a Ford Pinto wagon. (back seat sucked - hot chick got to ride shotgun) It definitely was touch and go for a while weather-wise but they finally got it going. Our seats were kinda lousy - right behind home plate would have been great for baseball, but the stage was out in center field. Thanks Mike, for remembering those binoculars. Ace (remember them) opened the show - bad choice for a Yes crowd. A little irony in that their last song was their hit "How Long?" We were asking that very same question. When the promoter/MC tried to get the crowd to cheer for them to come back for an encore, the results were rather lackluster. (and that's being kind) One of the band members graciously said thanks a lot, but they weren't used to playing for such a large venue, and maybe they'd see us again at a smaller show. Sucked for them, but they never should have taken that gig. So then it was time for Yes. They didn't disappoint anyone. Usual Firebird Suite intro, even with Pat Moraz now on keys was great. Steve was on fire, and I remembered we were commenting on how he seemed technically better than in Hartford where we had last seen the band at the Dillon Stadium drug fest/bottle throwing fest. Overall it was a great show, but I wasn't blown away like at Dillon or the NH Coliseum. One memorable incident was the long, painfully slow, humid ride down a piece of highway approaching the stadium. There was a guy - chest length beard, over the shoulders hair - wearing this comically huge straw hat and riding this 1950-esque bicycle with an enormous wire basket on the front. In the basket was a large open-topped box. As he slowly pedaled along, he called out "pot and acid, pot and acid." And business was good, it seemed, given the cars that stopped in the middle of the road to do business. A great day in a memorable era. And by the way, I married tha hot chick.

This was my 3rd Yes concert. I Being so long ago, I dont remember much. But I do remember it was raining on and off and there were people rolling around in the mud on the field. Glad I had seats in the stands.

It was my first YES concert.Had been listening to them since the YES album. I remember the mud and some guy on the field falling off the 2 x 12 board ramp to the seats right into the mud!I remember ACE being booed right off the stage. People were throwing coolers and folding chairs on the stage at them.They came back out and swore they'd never play Jersey again. Screw em!

Yes, it did rain on the rain date, almost did not go!!! Waited and waited for Yes. They were fantastic!!! It was my second Yes concert. First was 1974 at MSG!!!!

This was my very first Yes concert. Thirty of our friends attended this show...It was orginally rained out and it also rained on the the make-up date. Jon Anderson came out in the afternoon and entertained us for a time. I remember during "I get up, "I get down", that people were stopped dead in their tracks in ankle deep mud mesmerized by sound sights and sounds eminating from the stage...FANTASTIC! Don't know how I got home to NY that night....thanks to all the people we were with, someone managed to get navigate us home!!

This show was rained out and postponed until July 25, 1975. I still have the red tourbook that was ruined by the rain. July 25th was overcast and might have rained a bit. We all thought that date would be cancelled also, but luckily YES played.
