Although being a great Yes fan, I saw them for the first time now.I had expected a lot but the gig was really a dream. As fas as I cansay, the hall was completely filled. We had some really good seats inthe 5th row, so we could enjoy perfect sound(!!!) and a good lightshow.A huge comliment to the sound&light crew!
Jon - as usual looking like an angel in his white clothes - sang like an angel. Really great!
Steve's fingers were playing at warp speed and his solos were just like on CD (almost too good to be true).
Alan managed even the toughest parts and breaks with such a precisionand feeling that Yes seemed to be playing the easiest songs on earth.
Igor was technically brillant, but he played a lot of solosjust like on the records (sometimes Wakeman seemed to stand up there).
Chris really had fun in his black pyjama. He jumped an danced andhandled his bass guitar like others knife and fork. He has a fantasticstyle of playing different - sometimes smooth and sometimes likethunder.
Billy should have more tasks. He seemed to be a little helpless. But being 2nd guitarist after Steve Howe is tough... give him more solos!
