After having seen the guys at Stuttgart 2 weeks ago sitting in the 3rd row I chose to watch another gig in Munich "from the balcony".

Jon seemed to have the flu. He seemed to be a little weak like he would be better off lying in his bed. But the guy struggled through the gig and gave everything to make it a great evening for the fans. The crowd seemed to see how he was fighting and gave him a big "thank you" screaming and roaring like hell after each song. I think Jon's illness was the reason that Yes didn't play "revealing" and "From the balcony" this evening.

However, the show was fantastic. Great sound, the best Steve Howe I've ever seen, Igor seems to fit perfectly with the band and played a brilliant gig, Alan, Chris and Billy were in excellent shape. By the way, all you guys who keep asking what Billy is doing on stage: listen carefully to some of the Yes classics like Heart of the Sunrise, And you and I, Siberian Khathru or Whitefish and watch Billy for a little while and you'll know what he's doing up there. Many fans mentioned that Yes is sounding very good on this tour. One reason for that is Billy Sherwood. He fills each and every little gap so that Steve has enough space to thrill us, lift us up and blow us away with his solos.

Chris Squire. Watching the king of the bass again alone would have been worth each and every penny of the ticket.

It's hard to find highlights of this evening because the guys played Owner of a lonely heart with the same dedication and power as And you and I. I enjoyed each and every song, each and every moment and I could have watched another 6 hours without getting tired of these wonderful musicians.

One wonderful moment was the end of the "Disillusion" section in Starship Trooper. Everyone could see how tired Jon was and how much he had to fight to make it through the last minutes of the concert. Then came the part when it goes towards the end of Disillusion and Jon leaves a little space between "you and you may..." and "...follow". One guy in the first row wanted to help Jon and began to sing "follooooow" exactly when the whole hall was quiet for that second. Jon said "yes, thanks" and applauded to the guy, the whole band and audience started laughing, then Jon went on with the song.

Thanks Jon for struggling through so fine, thanks Yes for that unforgettable evening.

The concert in Munich was shortened in exactly the same way that someone here had already posted regarding another date (can't remember which one): no FTB and RSOG, concert began early, Yes rushed away in a hurry after the 2:15 concert...

Anybody knows what's going on?
