This was the first Yesshow for many years when I had no inkling of what the band would be playing (at least in the first half). A real highlight of the first set was Sweet Dreams, played in its 1975 Relayer tour arrangement (which made up for the disappointment of no Relayer material elsewhere in the set). Parallels was storming. And the Tales material was wonderful to hear - extraordinary to think that Yes could play this stuff 45 years after the album was released to such an respectful and appreciative audience. Wonderful.
The band was high on energy, and the tempos were up. This line up has gone from strength to strength since the 2016 UK tour. The first of three gigs for me on this tour.
