We were supposed to see the Drama / Tales double bill, indeed we get Best of / Tales, which is not disappointing, by the way. I made the trip for Tales and 2 & ¼ Tales I got & was not deceived at all. Dean light show behind, the opening and closing sections of Tales are huge, long, solid, full of energy and precision, alas without the Squire but BS did a great job. What stroke me most ? Howe is now the unchallenged boss, doing nearly all the speeches. Davison is well in place, not autotuned yet. Alas, White only comes in for Tales Four, last part, arriving onstage with pain and ending the gig. Get well soon, Alan ! Downes is a shame, again, no more about him. Overall a great gig, good plus sound, along with the pleasure to see another Buggle, Trevor Horn for an impromptu “Tempus fugit”, badly (or not) rehearsed, he half excuses for his voice. Not bad Trevor, the other Buggle was worse than you and he’s in the band ! About that time they wrapped their 2000 Roundabouts, quite a feat ! This one is above average : they pushed it quite well ! Well, I had a very good moment, indeed thanks to the Tales !
