I decided to write a new one
review for this show. People roared with happiness , asked for Gates of Delirium and the show seemed like a dream.
The highlights were Siberian Khatru, Wonderous Stories and Open your Eyes, really beautiful live.

I was there,my first Yes show...Siberian Khatru was amazing...Steve is fantastic.Chris was very happy on stage,his solo blow my mind away...Jon is magical,Alan is great.Billy and Igor are very good.I am a die-hard Tales and Relayer fan but in Porto Alegre we do not have The revealing Science and do not have Starship Trooper!!!!Why????I have a bootleg tape from this show.¨6o minutes and GREAT Photos too and the tickets.

I've been an Yes fan for more than 20 years, but until one month ago I had never had the chance to see them live. In this last month I saw them live twice (the first one in London in April 24, the second one in Porto Alegre in May 19), and even met all the band members with the remarkable exception of Mr. Steve Howe.

Yes played in Porto Alegre for the first time in the group's history. This is their third time in Brazil, but the other times they didn't come to Porto Alegre. The show in Porto Alegre was probably one of the shortest of this tour, but it still lasted about two hours, which is more than almost any other show I've seen here. And we can't blame the band for reducing the set list for this show, they did it because of the venue. This place, as the name says, is a bar, a dance place, and not a theather. There's no place to sit, the stage is very small, the view of the stage is bad unless you're very tall, and the sound quality was very poor this night. And it was very hot inside.

I was almost sure they wouldn't play 'From the Balcony' and 'The Revealing Science of God', but in this show Steve's solo consisted only of 'Mood for a Day' and 'The Clap', while in almost every other show he played one or two pieces from his solo albums between them, in this show Igor didn't play his small piano solo, and (most of all) they didn't play 'Starship Trooper' in the encore, which surprised me. But as I said before, I don't blame them, but the venue.

I was a great show, I'm sure everybody in the audience love it. Even if they reduced the set list a little, they played with dedication and professionalism.

The funniest thing about the show was that before the band played 'I've Seen All Good People' Jon said something like: 'See you afterwards...at the Plaza...at the bar...for a drink.' The Plaza is the hotel where they were staying. Well I knew from some fellow members of a brazilian discussion list of Yes fans that the band members had sat and talked with fans in hotel bars in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, but here Jon actually INVITED people to do that!
