the poster mentioned the sound. This is always a problem if your sitting in front of that second row of speakers it's the worst spot in the venue to hear, though you can see fairly well. A Problem that has yet to be fixed. from my vantage the sound was good , but I know that spot well (sat there fora Rush show once) and you get a double echo sound that mudds up the sound pretty badly.
I find it best to just go back and sit in the grass in the general admission seats if I'm stuck there.

I went to see the show in Milwaukee last night. Normally I go to Chicago, but it's faster to get to Milwaukee than the venue in Chicago. I last went to the show in November in Chicago.

First of all, the crowd kind of sucked. When I was in Chicago almost everybody stood through "America". The people in Milwaukee were sitting less than two minutes into "Siberian Khatru". The band didn't seem that excited for most of the show. As it went on it got better, but there was a lot more energy last year.

It seemed like there were a lot of sound problems. I was sitting underneath a bank of speakers, so I can't be the best judge of the sound, but it was kind of muddy. There definitely wasn't nearly as much bass as there was in the theater last year. It seemed as if Squire was having a lot of problems with the sound. First of all, I could barely hear his voice. When his harmonica part came up I couldn't hear that. At the end of the first song he went back to get a new guitar so the first few seconds of "Rhythm of Love" had no bass. He seemed to be going back to the sound guys a lot more than I remembered from before.

As far as the setlist goes, I think it was pretty much the same as most shows (at least from the few posts I've read) but Owner was moved to the middle of the show, and there was no America. The only song in the encore was Roundabout. Igor didn't seem to have much of a solo before Long Distance Runaround (pretty much the typical intro). Chris and Alan's solo came at the end of that song. It wasn't nearly as good as last year. Chris played only the bass for Tempus Fugit whereas last year I think Steve stayed for that and Jon sang the "Yes, yes" part.

Some of the songs sounded like they were performed better than last year, like Owner, but most just lacked a lot of energy. So, I didn't really like it as much even though I had great seats. I think next time I ought to go Chicago.
