YES proved in De Roma that it can easily be called one of the most iconic bands in the world. What a beautiful evening. De Roma's resident photographer Julie Rommelaere was there and made a beautiful atmospheric report.

YES Antwerp, De Roma (15/05/2024)
written by Erik Janssens 17/05/2024
The legendary progressive rock band YES returned to a sold-out De Roma in Antwerp on May 15, 2024 as part of their Classic Tales of YES Tour 2024. The band was founded in 1968 in London by Jon Anderson (vocals) and Chris Squire (bass) and has undergone numerous occupation changes throughout history.
77-year-old Steve Howe (guitar, vocals) was the only remaining YES veteran in the band; he was joined by Geoff Downes (keyboards), Jon Davison (vocals and acoustic guitar), Billy Sherwood (bass guitar, vocals) and Jay Schellen (drums).
The band opened their set with the 10-minute Machine Messiah.
The predominantly older and somewhat grayer audience enjoyed the performance, which was neatly split into 2 parts with an intermission!
A varied mix of songs from their extensive oeuvre was presented: It Will be a Good Day, Going for the One, Don't Kill the Whale and Turn of the Century. Cut From the Stars from their 2023 album Mirror to The Sky was played in the second part of the set, followed by a 20-minute medley from their concept album Tales From Topographic Oceans.
Their set ended with a standing ovation and was followed by the usual encores: Roundabout and Starship Trooper. The fans enjoyed the show, but here and there we heard the comment that Jon Davison's voice could not match that of founder Jon Anderson.
In the foyer, fans could admire and purchase Roger Dean 's masterful works of art. He is known for his striking, otherworldly landscapes that shine on the classic album covers of Yes and Asia, among others.

I was there yesterday. The setlist looks OK, except for "America (Instrumental)". I don't recall that one.

The show was good ! Really enjoy that favorite two songs were played (Going for the One , All Connected) along with many minor favorites (Revealing , Roundabout) ! From what I hear , setlist was same as usual except Connected before Stars .
May be wrong , as I not have best memory , but I hope I am right ! Setlistfm seem to agree with me . Found show as a whole to be very good ! No record on my part sadly :(
