I watched the footage of this show on a YouTube playlist. The link is [Link] think that this footage fills the gap in Yes videography between Live at QPR and Live In Philadelphia. Though there was only one camera, the show was still shot pretty well. All the members glowed like colors in the dark. Up until the "In The Present" tour, this was the only video source of "Parallels" being performed live. The whole 'GOING FOR THE ONE' album was played. There were also a few short songs like "Colours of the Rainbow" and the "Tour Song". The whole 'CLOSE TO THE EDGE' album, minus "Siberian Khatru", was also played. On "I Get Up, I Get Down", the camera was mainly focused on Jon Anderson. It panned to Alan at the climax then to Rick at the beginning of "Seasons of Man". During the climax of "Awaken", the stage was lit up like a rainbow, reminding people of "Colours of the Rainbow".

Mssrs. Dunn, Prisco and Memory below all seconded with all enthusiasm.

Just from the standpoint of shoot vantage, all 'pro' Yes vids from any era should have been done this way - one camera, front and center audience. For a preponderance of headshots in profile and backsides hiding musicianship [or lack of it], stick with MTV and the schlockers it promotes.

I whole-heartedly agree with Mr. Prisco and Mr. Memory -- the concert footage from this show is easily one of the best visual/audio documents of Yes! This period can only be described as magical -- the energy, musicianship and spirit of the performances were nothing short of phenomenal. Also, I love Rick's "amazing feet" before 'Going For The One' and Chris shaking Rick's foot afterward. Classic!!!

Well, we all know the value of a message that must be sent in all caps.

No doubt, 1977 was a peak year, and this is an excellent show. The video deserves wider availability -- unlike most amateur one-camera shoots, this one shows a good artistic sense, well-realized within the limited technical ability of the camera. Frankly it rivals YESSONGS, despite the occasional technical glitches.

Musically, this show is exactly what you'd expect (and hope for): a band fueled by an exhilarating mix of creativity, Wakeman's return and chart success ("Wonderous Stories").

As Jon might say, a magical time. Later, the band would revisit these moments with a different kind of magic, but here it's fresh with the fire of enthusiastic discovery.

How the band must have burned to share their new blend of tried & fresh material, as if to say 'Now we know we've got it right!' And they did :-)
