When I put an apostrophe on this web site the preview shows it as an apostrophe. but when you press post review it comes out as a quotation mark IE: I''m

It looks like they also did Don''t Kill the Whale at this show. It''s on youtube audio only. The different songs sound like they are from the same show. IE: The Release Release version sounds like it''s the same show as Parallels or Don''t Kill the Whale. If they didn''t do Don''t Kill the Whale at this show, then the person who posted it has it labeled wrong.

Great Show!! I just turned 17 a few weeks before that show. The revolving stge fried my brain! Siberian Khatru was awesome!

I remember being so psyched up, for YES was my favorite band at that time, and I was going to go see them for 2 consecutive nights (Rochester AND Buffalo) which was great for someone who had just turned 16!
With the circular stage it was pretty much a good seat in most of the War Memorial....I remember the band had a tough time getting to the stage, but what really stood out was when they tried to leave, some overzealous fan grabbed Rick Wakeman's Superman-like "RCW" cape right off his back!! I don't think he got it back either.....another impressive sight was Jon Anderson standing on that oval platform in the center of the stage, which had the "Olias" logo on it.

Funny...I remember that show. It was a Sunday evening and Yes had been in town all weekend. Chris did a small leap at the end of RB and fell on his butt...fell hard too...got up, turned around, looked at Jon who was smiling and giggling, shook his head as if to say, "I'm done for the night" and undid his strap and looked for the stairs. They were great that night too...Jon singing..."we just keep going round and round!"

My fondest memory of the show had nothing to do with the band. I went with a group of friends from Potsdam, and I bought the tickets for the group. Another group of folks was going, and they bought their tickets three weeks after we bought ours.

We had the eleventh row on the floor. When we walked in to take our seats, we met the other groups of folks - we were all friends and excited to see each other. They kept following us to our seats: it turns out we had one end of that row of seats, and they had the other end! The whole row was made up of our two groups. Totally unplanned. What a blats we had!

When Alan White spoke at the Computers and MIDI discussion at Microsoft I asked him if the band had ever performed RELEASE RELEASE. His reply was that they did it only a couple of times on the east coast; a friend who attended one of those shows still has a newpaper clipping with a review of the concert and the reviewer raved specifically about that song. But Alan said they dropped it because the energy level was so extremely high, and Jon had to sing at such a high energy pitch, that the band was totally drained after performing it; the way Alan put it was that after they finished the song they'd look at each other as if to say, can't we stop, do we HAVE to continue the concert, the song was so exhausting!

My very first Yes show. We all piled into a friend's car and made the long drive from Potsdam, NY. At the time, the rotating stage was a pretty revolutionary idea. I remember it as a really great show.
