I was at that show. I remember Wakeman getting hit in the head with a frisbee. Although I don't remember many details, I know I really enjoyed the performance. I distinctly remember that when they started playing "Heart of the Sunrise" I was surprised that it was not not as loud as expected, but the sound was so crisp and clear. We were sitting in floor seats in about the tenth row. In the round was a great way to watch Yes.

I must say, it was an eventful night (what I could remember of it) As usual the Hartsdale crowd would meet at the train station, and away we go! This night unfortunately it was one from our town that nailed Wakeman upside the head with a frisbee. For his safety, his name will remain anonymous. Just a classic evening with Yes, in a wonderful round stage. During 'Circus of Heaven' there was a great effect with animals popping up and down, like a merry go round. At least that's what I remember after 26 years. I went the next night and my mother wanted to kill me. I was 16 and very exited about Yes. Nothing stopped me.

I remember my friend Rocco and I getting tickets for this show during the summer and being very content with our seats-green section right at center ice for hockey.A mutual friend told us that the show was going to be in the round and we scoffed-but lo and behold if we don't get to our seats and the damn stage is right in front of us!
Lights go off,crowd roars,and they come out across from us-perfect!When the stage began to move during Siberian,the crowd went crazy-don't think it was expected.One of my favorite moments was just before Heart of the Sunrise when Jon said that they would like to dedicate a song to Madison Square Garden-that was appropriate.He may have used the same line in Toledo for all we know but it was nice to hear anyway.As far as frisbees went-they were all over as,well as beach balls.It's amazing to see a crowd bond over a beachball reaching the stage from the rafters!Also amazing to watch Chris during Silent Wings-very underrated tune !

After missing out on seeing Yes live in 76 & 77 (I was too young and my mother wouldn't let me attend concerts) I finally got my chance in 1978 for the Tormato Tour. It was my first concert experience. I was the youngest in my group and also straightest! Our seats were far but it didn't matter due to the round stage. The one thing I remember clearly is that when the band hit the stage with Siberian Khatru...they played the first few bars and then the stage began to revolve. The audience gasped! The reaction to the moving stage was electric. I sat silent throughout the show...totally glued to this spectical before me. After the show my big brother turned to me and said, "well did you like it?" I was so stunned that I hadn't said a word well after the show ended. My answer was of course "Yes!"....Since then I've never missed a Yes tour.

Way back during one of the Tormato shows at Madison Square Garden in NYC there was an inordinate amount of frisbee throwing going on during one of the shows - for a good part of the show there must have been 2 or 3 going at all times. Jon even tried to catch a few of them as I recall. Well the show was of course was in the round but my seats weren't the best, (couldn't afford the scalpers in those days), so I was high up enough to be seeing the flight paterns quite clearly. Well , I believe it was during 'Awaken', Wakeman gets clocked right across the chops with a serious line drive. He was obviously stunned and actually stopped playing for a few minutes while the rest of the band carried on. The moral of this little ditty - THINK BEFORE YOU THROW!

The Tormato tour was arriving at Madison Square Garden that September. It was the first concert I ever attended. I went with my best friend (who incidentally still is) who had to beg (with my help) his mother to let him go! Since another friend of mine knew the head photographer for Madison Square Garden, we were able to get pretty good seats

(Row 1 Seats A1 and A2) I still have the stubs! The concert was in the round and I will never forget them opening up the show just like Yessongs (Firebird Suite, then Siberian Khatru and Heart of the Sunrise). As I am sure most of you know, the show was to say the least, fantastic!
