My second Yes show, after the 1976 extravaganza, which was my first concert ever.

Been looking for a recording of this, it's the only Yes show that I was at that I don't have a copy of, so far.

My fifth Yes concert. My first of only two "double dips". I saw the Tormato show several months earlier with a different group of friends in Oakland. This one was with my brother, and was his first Yes concert. He and I were just starting to gel in musical tastes. He got me interested in some of the newer guitar oriented rock of the day (like Van Halen), and I got him interested in Yes and Rush. Also had some great friends who had moved up to Portland from Reno.

It was a wonderful show. Once again Awaken and Soon stood out strongly for me. But the whole thing was spot on. Can't remember any particular difficulties, flubs, etc. This was just a great night or Yes in top form, and just before their first "break up", as it turned out. But we had no way of knowing that at the time.
