I was there with my brother and his friends (floor seats). I was a 7th grader at the time. Anyway, I remember Wakeman got hit in the head with a frisbee - didn't seem to bother him. I still have the t-shirt. After the concert, Wakeman showed up at K-SHE 95 (radio station) and played records with Mark Klose (DJ). I remember Klose remarking on Wakeman showing up with a cooler full of beer and consuming all of it without showing any sign of 'impaired abilities'. Great days!

Last day of only 8th grade at Parkway North Junior High. It was my first "real" concert. Unfortuantly, I was only familiar with a small portion of the show. Nonetheless, I was completely astonished. That show made me aware of just how good these guys were and still are. I would have to say it was the most memorable show I have ever seen, and has made me the YES HEAD that I am today. The incredible stage, lights, and most of all the music that makes Yes what it is. I've seen them several times since, and they have always put on a show second to none. The Drama Tour two years later at the Checkerdome,
Big Generator at Lehigh University (Yes playing in the auditorium of a small junior college near Allentown, PA--what an opportunity), and more recently thier 35th anniversary tour at the Fairgrounds in Allentown, PA. They have been around for awhile, but if anyone out there ever has the chance to see them that hasn't---do yourself a favor---do not hesitate!

Let me see if I can remember. It's been quite a few years since this show. If I recall, it was the last day of school for my junior year in high school, which made the concert even more special. I had seen the Tormato show less than a year before, but this time I was in the tenth row. To this day, this show remains one of the best concerts I've ever seen. They were all in top form this night, and I sat literally in awe of what I was witnessing. Little did I know that it wouldn't be until 2002 that I would see these five guys play another show together. At the time I had never seen a rotating round stage before, and it seemed to suit them perfectly. That in and of itself was an incredible special effect, not to mention the lighting that went along with it. Yes was always known for their extraordinary sound system too, but somebody threw a frisbee and shorted out a portion of it. Much of the music performed here was never performed again. There were several songs from Tormato, and a couple from Going for the One, along with the usual Yes standards. I must admit that at the time I wasn't familiar with about a third of the music that was performed. Since then I have come to know everything they've ever recorded, and look back at this setlist and kick myself for not being more familiar with this brilliant music when it was fresh and new. Three hours later, as the show was winding down, I was as drained as the band was. An exhilirating evening, an outstanding performance by what was after this night my favorite rock band. I will never forget this incredible evening.
