Attended all three shows......a Yes marathon! G-r-e-a-t. !!!!!!!!!!

On this night. I met the band for the first time. I was invited to an After Show party, but could not go as someone was coming to pick me up. Had no cell phone to call and say come 2 hours later! It was magical and the beginning of a wonderful journey and many good times with The Yes inner circle. i was fortunate enough to have my tickets changed because of the stage being in the round. I had 2nd row right where the aisle the band used to get to the stage. Fantastic!

I wasn't actually at this one, so please forgive my indulgence. I did hear an amazing audience tape of it however, and like the author below was privileged to have caught one show the previous year...so may have some authority to speak.

Albert Einstein is said to have said "A human being is a part of the whole that we call the universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest - a kind of optical illusion of his consciousness. This illusion is a prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires..."

And we can assume perspectives. The statement went on about widening our circle of compassion to all living things and to all of nature. It speaks also to Einstein's integration of relativity at all levels of his consciousness. So does it speak to different folks' very relative perceptions of Yes concerts. The Tormato Tour in both '78 and '79 was seminal and assuredly last to feature Yes as the phenomenon it was before 1980 but never quite after. The post below underscores how different perspectives can truly be under relativity. The audience tape mentioned above I couldn't get enough of and neither could anyone else I encountered who had heard it. When it was lost an irreplaceable record of one of creation's most awe-inspiring timeslices went with it. Details I've already posted elsewhere on this Website.
