To be precise, there are two taper-sanctioned remasters of this show available on different Bit Torrent trackers. The first remaster to be done is called "UFOs Over Boston" and is slightly off speed. Corrected versions are available if you look around. The second remaster doesn't have a name but you'll know it when you find it. The person who did the remastering goes by Lestat and has recently commented on other pages of this site.

There are also several butchered versions from various bootleg factories in circulation. The ones I've seen are called "Ten True Summers" and "Going Around." Don't waste your money on those.

The reason that I can speak about this particular show with authority is that I taped it. Both of the remasters mentioned above are from my direct master tape to digital transfers. I wish I didn't have to be so vague about these things but I respect Pete's policies.

I wasn't there but Doug's sure right about it being something else. There was no Wondrous Stories however.

How do I know about either? One of the two best quality 1970s audience tapes I've ever heard [of anyone]. It's available for free on at least one Bit Torrent tracker too. Details coming shortly. There are two edits of the same tape actually, and a brand new one is MUCH better than the older one.

As the last reviewer stated, this was one magical show. I too caught them the year before up high in echo land at the gaahden. I had great seats this time and it made a world of difference. The light show was better in 79 than it was in 78. They played their hearts out for us. Someone threw a frisbee and Jon caught it and gave it a nice toss. Squire, Howe, Wakeman and White playing in one awesome groove. I do rememeber them playing Wonderous Stories this night although it is not listed. I rememeber leaving saying wow, what could top this(nothing I ever saw topped this). I saw them two or three times after this and they never came close to this again. This was what Yes was all about for me.

I remeber this one. Of all the Yes shows I have seen this stands out as the best, maybe the zenith of the A,W,H,S,W lineup. I know that in high school I was looking forward to this for weeks. The aura of that line up on that night was tremendous and it was obvious they knew it. Boston was always a good stop for Yes and the house was sold out. We had floor seats. The year before I was up in the rafters to see the first revolving stage tour, so the ground view was much better , especially on Awaken where the lighting gear came down and enclosed the band. (what a song live!) Howe and Wakeman were really taking off on exchanging riffs between Mini-moog and guitar. And even though the Garden (God bless the "Gahhhdin") was not the best for accoustics by any means, Yes really cut it clear. I only wish they did Starship Trooper that night, my favorite live. I mean it's sometimes hard to describe to someone younger what going to a Yes show in those years was like. You just don't see that kind of craft of playing and presentation on stage now. I just remeber that my mouth was open when they finished, always feeling that it was hard to believe it was over and that something special had occurred.
