This was my third and turned out to be my last Yes Concert..
I had seen them the previous summer in St. Louis at the Checkerdome.. we wanted to see them "in the round" it was packed.. we had driven up from Louisville (I lived east of there in what was the country).. trusted a buddy to purchase tickets.. he did.. late... and we were as far away as you could get... on the very top row next to a girder.. the sound wasn't great up there.. but the show and the experience was..
This is why we decided to see them again the following summer in Lexington Ky at Rupp Arena... with another old friend.. (RIP Larry Miller) who was a disc jockey.. way better seats... better sound.. and I was able to walk up to the stage and take a few pictures. Wakeman was awesome.. they all were.. I remember it as being an all around (no pun intended) great show...

I made a mistake and took a date, so the guys I had gone with to their Louisville show drove up separately. A mistake because before the show, my friends went into a bar attached to Rupp Arena and in walk three memebers of the band (Chris, Rick, and maybe Jon) and they sat at the bar with my friends and shared a pint.

This one was a little loose this was toward the end of that tour and in the round they were having some slap back problems but really just physically tired.( being a guitarist of course i didnt care) I was at the Hyatt that night and saw Squire sipping tea down from the room balcony before show i had heard from hotel employees they were eating later at the "Peppercorn duck Club" in the hotel after show. this was all clear because my wife had just had my firstborn son Jonathon.
