Another terrific Yes show. I think they did a great job of music selection. I can see how some would like to hear some of the newer stuff, but with so much material to choose from It's got to be a tough decision. I'm sure also that the older Yes fans appreciated the set as I did.
I thought the orchestra was awesome (although, there was still enough room for Rick Wakeman, in my opinion. Why not have your cake and eat it too?). The orchestra didn’t have the presence that I thought they would, but they did have a presence, nonetheless. I can imagine that it was a daunting task to bring them into the mix at this venue. We sat right in front of the soundboard and could hear an excellent mix, but being outdoors has got to make it tough.
We too, are lucky enough to see them again Tuesday in Interlochen. It will be a rare treat to compare the shows.
All in all, I’d give the show a 10. As Jon said about Steve, all of the guys are like fine wine…
