I had seen the band years earlier, but it was when I was at Cardiff and appearing in a student play that evening that I have my greatest memory. My parents had come down to see me, and my girlfriend went to dinner with them after my play, while I went and bashed on the door of the Capitol Theatre waving my ticket in an agitated manner. I entered a packed and rocking theatre and the band were playing just for me. There wasn't a single soul I could see other than the five gods on stage. It was an emotional and exhilarating moment for me, I can tell you. After the concert, people started leaving, and the roadies appeared. But I was having none of this, and stood on a seat and in my loudest, theatrically trained, voice, I called the faithful to clap and scream and hang on in there. The result was better than I could have dreamed, and the band came out to a half full theatre and played a fantastic encore! Since then I have seen the band 20 odd times and am currently in the middle of making a film with Rick Wakeman.

The band left the stage after Roundabout and the lights went up. The roadies began to take down the equipment. About half the audience left but the rest keep cheering for an encore. Eventually the lights went down and they came out and played YIND.
