The opening "act" was a series of donald duck cartoons. This was the first time i saw yes and it was great. The T&M is a basketball arena about the size of the Forum in LA (15,000 seats give or take) and it was about 90% sold which is great for a concert in vegas. The sound was excellent for the type of venue. I had met the whole band earlier in the day at Caesers Palace and they were all very kind. I had Alan sign my picture sleeve of John Lennon's 'Instant Karma' single and he seemed surprised that I knew he played on it. I told him I thought Topographic was the best thing Yes had made and he said "ain't that the truth". Trevor and Tony were very friendly, Chris was on his way to soundcheck but was very accomodating, and Jon was just hanging in the bar, very cool, and allowing my friend's mother in law to talk her head off. she thought he was a babe (ha ha).
