My first Yes show 4/4/84 in Pullman. as a trained musician i quickly noticed that they were the finest live act I have ever seen! Tight! I was instantly a Yes head. I am a bass player and owe most to Chris Squires style.

1984 - my best friend and bigtime YES fan Ern joined me in Pullman. We were 7th row center and had a blast with Bugs Bunny cartoons to open (best opening band I've ever seen!!!). The concert was delayed, but 10 or 15 mins after Bugs started the boys hit the stage (maybe Chris was fixing his hair - see YesSpeak). They performed all the new songs and a few "old" ones to fill out the show - r...ocking and rolling and on top of the World. I thought Trevor was fantastic and I enjoyed his versions of Steve's parts - sounded like Howe but a Trevor twist! After seeing YES in '79 in Spokane in the round I still believed they were Gods walking on this Earth for us, the fans. We waited after the concert for over 2 hours to meet the boys. We yakked with a reporter that told us which exit they would use and bingo, we met Chris!!!! My first YES encounter!!! He stopped and shook our hands...he has big hands and we looked up to him and he was gone. Wisked off in the limo, no sign of any more Yesmen. We drove all night back to Canada (5 hours) and at 5am plowed into a deer. What a trip!!!! Ern and I still remember and laugh at the night of Joy and sorrow (the deer died as we watch him) and realized this is life as it happens to me and it happens to you - YoEuSI (dedicated to my friend Ern who lost his son in 2002)

I attended a YES concert for 90125 in Pullman, WA in 1984. It was my first time seeing YES in concert, and I was quite impressed, especially with Chris Squire's "Fish" solo bass performance.
