The March date for this concert IS incorrect. The April date is right. I was rehearsing/breaking into a nightclub band named "Looker" 2 hours away in Mankato. We had "nose bleed" seats and decided we would attempt to sit closer down to the front of the balcony area. We ended up on the front row of the balcony on the left side when the lights went out - that's when we knew we would be able to stay where we were. The concert was fabulous. The lazers were great, and the lowering of the set lights at the end of the "Starship Trooper" encore had our jaws dropping. One funny moment occured during the Roundabout encore: a female fan broke through security and ran around the stage for almost the entire tune before the stagehands could get her off.

I skipped this one, so my first Yes show wasn't until the "Union" tour, but I don't recall them playing here in back-to-back months, so one of the two shows listed obviously didn't happen.

I think the March 7th date for this show is incorrect, although it's possible they played in March and then again in April. I remember this date very clearly as I still have the ticket stub. I was very happy that Yes were playing because I'd been a fan after 1980 when they had broken up. I started loving their music and feared I would never see them in concert, so needless to say, I was overjoyed when 90125 was released. Although it's a very different sounding Yes album, it's still a fantastic record and one I go back to often.

Apparently Berlin was supposed to open for Yes on this night, but they canceled for whatever reason, so the management showed two Bugs Bunny cartoons as the opening act. This was also my first major group concert so I didn't have any expectations. We were in the 29th row in the now defunct civic center in St. Paul (which is now the Excel Center) and the seats were fantastic. After the obvious opening of Cinema and Leave It, they went into Yours Is No Disgrace and I was amazed. The group sounded extremely tight and Trevor Rabin's guitar playing was as incredible as Steve Howe's playing, although very they have very different styles.

This show ranks among the best of any show I've ever seen of all the different concerts I've been to. I remember it was on a Tuesday and it was raining before the show. I think the highlight of the show for me was Solly's Beard and then the 15 minute version of Starship Trooper. I wish someone had this show on tape.
