another thing i remember of this show...there was a large mesh net hanging out in the front of the center stage, about 20 or so feet in the air...at random times during the show, a laser light was projected on it, and lime-green lights in the mesh would form "stick-figure" graphics of the various logos associated with the 90125 sleeve art all flipping around & zooming in & out. definately primitive computer graphics-type stuff, but cutting-edge at the time & it really added to the whole experience...also, about half-way thru the show, a group of about 5 people seated about 2 rows in front of where i was all got up & walked out. they were older men; looking like college professors (tweed sport coats, turtle neck sweaters, etc) who obviously werent pleased with the direction YesMusic had taken at this point...their loss!! as i stated below, i got soured on the whole BS 'rockstar posing' that i witnessed a few months later when Yes came thru at Blossom Music Center later this summer(on the leg of the tour sponsored by MTV. go figure!), but i remember this show being really great. i still have one of the free bumper stickers for this part of the tour; as sponsored by Sparkomatic Car Audio. its still on the lid of my old turntable from highschool; which still gets use in my guest room...

the 2nd time i ever saw Yes. my seat was originally right behind the soundboard on the floor. Ushers walked over to the people in our area right before showtime & said that "section 5" (center of the floor, about 20 rows back) was empty due to a foul-up at the box office & we could all move up if we liked. WOW!!! all else i remember was the band was INCREDIBLY tight & all the newer stuff sounded right at home with the classics. no real stand-out moments, just a damn-near perfect show!!! unfortunately, when they came back to Cleveland later at Blossom Music Center, that wasnt the case. (real rock-star wanking that show was...soured me on the whole Rabin era as a result)

This is only the second time I have seen YES, My journey has just begun. As good as the first time I saw them, the bass line was very heavy to me and sounded excellent. Lasers were awesome. Can't say enough. I love this band.
