my fd Don and i took a bus package tour to Buffalo from Toronto. i remember running down the streets in Buffalo trying to get into a fastfood place as the city shut down at 6 pm on a Wednesday! squeezed past a large dude locking down the place to get our order in. then on to the Aud. we had floors around 10th row on the far left as i remember. pretty stoned so i dont recall all, but i do remember Jon stepping up onto the stage from centre back and holding up the peace sign while singing "Two down, one to go, another town and one more show." the band had really rocked out on Cimema, then into Leave It. dont remember much else but being so thankful to see them again after seeing them in Toronto in '79. i saw them again when they toured Toronto later on that summer. wonderful show, even though it was weird to be on the floor at the Aud (enemy territory for a Maple Leafs fan! :) ) but the crowd was great and Yes Rocked solidly!!!

My first of over 20 Yes concerts. It was a beautiful spring evening and the ride from Niagara Falls, ON on the QEW to the show was "magical". My buddy Steve and myself were in the lower Golds at the Aud. I vividly remember a scrap breaking out between a Festival East (promoters) worker and a Aud security guy just before the show. The cartoons prior to Yes were fantastic. The show itself was loud but pretty clear. "Hearts" was definitely the highlight with the lasers bouncing off the ceiling and the chick dressed in a white Stevie Nicks kinda thing dancing all around the floor.
