It might have been this night or it may have been the previous night at Wembley, but there was an announcement from Jon that Alan's wife had just given birth
philip bryant
this was my first yes concert.my friend nick and i ordered tickets for the 11th but recieved tickets for the 12th,we had no idea tickets for block c row 1 were front row seats until we arrived at the gig,so we spent the time before yes went on just being amazed at where we were sitting.we were sat right in front of chris squire, with the sloping stage used on that tour the view was excellent of all the band.to be honest the gig was a a blur.we were so close i seemed to forget the other 10,000 or so people behind, although not my favourite lineup, they played very well.but since then having seen them on every british tour since, there have been better shows.
