It was my first "important"/"International" concert.
I was 17 year old at the time and already a YES fan for 6 years.
It was also the first long trip out of town together with two friends of the same age (underage). We traveled 4 hours by train to reach Milan where the gig was planned.
All was happening in a sport hall that now does not exist anymore (it was replaced by another building) it was: the "San Siro Palasport".
The most exciting moments I remember were the first two tracks played ("Cinema" and "Leave It") ...very dynamic and powerful .... then one amazing "The Fish" were we sensed the power of Chris Squire also as showman !! Remarkable also "Solly's beard" and "Starship Trooper".
A great day that left a remarkable imprinting on us !

I was very excited: I was going to see my favourite band for the first time! I remember I left from Venice in the morning; it was also my first time in Milan (I was 19). Probably the Palasport was sold out (Yes were at their peak), and when they started the gig at about 10 p.m. I was "in trance". They played very well, almost 3 hours; I cannot describe my excitement, but Jon, Chris, Alan, Trevor and Tony were fantastic. I had all the night to dream about the concert as I missed the train and I stayed all the night in the Central Station alone (different times...) until the morning! I then saw Yes many times, but this gig will always remain in my heart!

It's almost twenty years passed from that concert. But that wonderful sound is still burning my ears. I'm a bass player, just for fun obviously, and Chris had been my hero for all these years. I think that probably this lineup was the last real YES lineup, with the energy and the musical knowledge magically balanced. Some years later, me and my friend Franco came to see the UNION tour, but things was really different.. the feeling has gone. Thank you Yes, for that Milan night and for all your works that accompanied my life.

That was the only Yes concert I ever saw. It was a hot day and I went to the show with a friend of my. We where sit on the higher ring of the palasport almost in front the stage, a little to the right of it. The show started with a Bug's Bunny cartoon episode where the rabbit have some fun with a bull at a spanish corrida. Then the music began: very high volume with my bones quivered by very deep bass frequences. My friend was on my right side. At 1/4 of the show I looked up to my left side: there was three guys sleeping sill sited (I mean not lay down; the same way somebody could sleeep while watching TV). I was deaf for a couple of days, but for me it was a great show. Months later I met a guy named Maurizio at work that was there with his girlfriend: he said that she had to get out because she get sick for the too much high volume. Still now, when I listen to the 90125 album, I remember the lights and laser effects... and I still have also the ticket stub. Unfortunatly I lost the tapes of that concert I both in the following winter :-((( Today the palasport doesn't exist: in January 1985, Milan had a 96 hours snowfall, a very thick one, with wind coming straight from Siberia; after that there was more than 1 meter of snow on the ground. The rooftop of the palasport collapse under the weight of so much snow. So the city administration decided to flat up all the area probably because was too expensive to repaired.

It was the only time in my life that me and my friends went away from the show before the ending. Boring, boring and bad organized. I remember really hating Chris Squire and his jumping around the place while playing his bass solo. Silly and boring. A show I'm still trying to forget.
