I remember this show like it was yesterday, though i was 14 at the time. it was a thursday nite and my parents let me go?? very much like the live video from that era...a highlight was the Awaken/Soon segment. i recall Soon sounding strange without Steve Howe's slide guitar, very churchlike. gimme some lovin'...not used to hearing many yes cover versions, this was a rocker. jon had some good banter, i actually recorded the show with a hand held walkman. totally distorted beyond belief. if anyone has a descent recording...) in retrospect, the lipsynching was wierd, just do it! good times.
