I HAPPILY ATTENDED THIS SHOW MY LAST OF THIS TOUR.AFTER SEEING YES FOR THE 5TH TIME THIS TOUR I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE OUTCOME.FOREST HILLS WAS ANICE VENUE TO SEE THE SHOW BEING OUTDOORS AND ALSO TO SEE GIMME SOME LOVING PERFORMED, MY FIRST AND ONLY TIME TO SEE THIS WITH 35 SHOWS UNDER MY BELT IT WAS FANTASIC.ALTHOUGH THIS WASNT THE CLASSIC YES LINEUP CHRIS SQUIRE MADE UP FOR THINGS
WITH HIS THUNDEROUS BASS & SOLO.NOT ONE THE GREATEST TOURS BUT 22 YEARS LATER STILL A VIVID MEMORY.

This was my second Yes show ever 2nd on the same tour. The other reviewers have it right, this was the last show at forest hills - a great place to see a show. The thing about that place is that there is barely any parking and I had to pay a guy to let me have a spot in front of his house. Right Martha Quinn was there (i saw her through the a gate after the show talking with Alan White) and MTV was all over this and all the shows on the second leg of the tour. (remember Mark Goodman and one other VJ had their Yes Jackets? Too much). The show was really great I bought tickets for at least 8 besides me, all were hooked on Yes after that. In those days you could fell Squire's bass right through your chest especially on Amazing Grace. One of the many things talked about with my gang the next day. Originally this was the to be the first of two shows at forest hills, but I guess they didn't think they would sell enough. I always think of this show whenever I pass by the stadium on the railroad. The US tennis open isn't played there anymore , what do they use it for now?

This was my first Yes concert. A senior in high school and an aspiring musician was I. My favorite part besides the band playing was the crowd chanting, "hit the road b&$#*, hit the road b*&^%" when Martha Quinn took to the stage. The concert was a life changing experience. It wasn't long after I made sure I had every Yes album in my arsenal and learned them note for note. Anyone who has seen this show will agree with two facts, 1. The green laser cone around Tony Kaye and his keyboard was spectacular during his solo. 2. Trevor's solo was outrageous!!!

This is a reply to John Dibella's review:
Yes he was there.......
Yes he gave up his floor seat.......
Yes he indeed saw Martha Quinn, as well as some chump tripping on acid.....
What he failed to mention was the fact that he managed to lose about 1/2 ounce of really good weed (It might have been the last batch of Columbian Gold I ever smoked, very traumatic) on me that night. Good show though (although the shows from earlier in the tour were a lot better).

P.S. We also broke down in my cousin Albert's Camaro on the ride home.
P.S.S Sorry Al for braking your rear view mirror off.

I believe this was the last show ever at Forest Hills Tennis Stadium, the neighbors complained about the noise and drunken kids roaming the streets afterwards. I remember thinking Trevor was pretty hot that night, and there was some guy tripping on acid right in front of us, totally out of control. I gave up my floor seats top sit on the side of the stadium, and had a great time. On our way out we saw Martha Quinn, or someone who looked a HELL of a lot like her. And YES, I bought a tourbook that night!
