On this 32nd anniversary, I fondly recall this concert as being one of the best, most high-energy YES concerts of all time -- despite no Steve Howe or Rick Wakeman. One of Tony Kaye's best outings ever, particularly in "Heart of the Sunrise," and Trevor Rabin was in peak form from 90125; "Changes" remains one of YES's best songs. Jon & Chris were completely kicking it. It was a hot Friday late-summer night in Boston, and the energy was unbelievable. "Gimme Some Lovin'" was an incredibly rocking (and surprising!) finale, if only my date had really listened to that one... :-}
