While it might seem odd that YES would encore with "Gimme Some Lovin", it seems like everyone was covering that song at that time -- or so it seemed to me. Mostly what I recall about this show was how much it was just like their show across the bay six months before; the only difference was "Our Song" bumping out an older song ("Yours is no Disgrace" is what I recall). The show was well-performed, and the Greek is a great place to see anyone, but I was surprised at the seeming note-for-note performance -- plus Chris Squire's apparent milking of a self-indulgent bass solo. In that way, I guess there still WAS some 'classic YES' left in the band ;-)

But don't get me wrong -- I enjoyed this show, and had bought tickets for both nights. But after this, I was satisfied; I'd been 90125'd enough. I bought the new, slightly different program [ bronze-colored cover rather than silver, and one or two different photos inside]. I bought 90125Live. I bought a T-shirt. Then I was done -- and judging by the two & a half years it took to make Big Generator, evidently so were they.

I also remember how Jon sang "Hello, Hello Heaven" waiving at the sky followed by "Good Bye, Good Bye, Bad" while waiving down at the floor.
