I attended both concerts in Southern Cal. that year. I never had seen this group before. In the first go around the concert was great except for Jon Anderson's voice was a little rough. When they returned we went and was them again and WOW! What an improvement. I won't regret seeing them twice. At the Forum it was a regular concert. At Irvine Meadows it was a performance. We were fortunate enough to sit about the 21st row in the middle and that made a difference because the sound was magnificent, almost visual. Jon's voice was crystal clear and the band was tight. I don't even remember the weather that night. As one of previous guys said Bugs Bunny never looked so good.

I attended this show as an admitted "Howe loyalist." I left with a ton of respect for Rabin. He did a great job with the new and classic material and his tone and chops were terrific. Though I still consider "90125" a radical departure from the essence of YES (I've been seeing these guys since the YES ALBUM tour), I can't deny the energy and enthusiasm that was apparent onstage. This band had lots of it and conveyed that to the audience. It was much needed since Irvine Meadows tends to get pretty chilly in the late evening and this night was no exception. Squire was having a blast!

this is to all, that remember. first of all i would like to comment on the bugs bunny cartoon that preceded the concert. great! bugs never looked better! anyway the concert....this was an outdoor concert. it was rather cool, everyone was wearing sweaters and jackets. this was the best concert i have ever been to. chris was terribly wreckless swinging his bass around like a wood chopper or headhunter. the guitar player got out of the way. jon sang like an angel. alan, bashed the drums to no end. the piano player had tiny headlights on his glasses. you should have been there. (especially steve howe)

Everyone seemed to be getting up to buy beer all concert long. One guy sitting behind us regurgitated warm beer on my friend's back. The stench was horrible--just thinking about it now makes me almost gag.

There's been some question of whether Yes played 'Our Song' beyond the first show or two of the original 90125 tour. Yes made a second go-round of their 90125 tour, playing many of the cities they had hit the first time. I saw the band only once on this second leg, when they played Irvine Meadows in Orange County, CA, and the second song of the set was 'Our Song'. The interesting thing about it is that the band had dropped 'Yours is No Disgrace' from the set, but they took the Rabin-White solo jam from that tune and inserted it into 'Our Song', playing it verbatim.
