A new persona. Owner of a Lonely Heart was all over the radio and I was thrilled to learn that the band was coming to Salt Lake. My best effort to obtain decent tickets yielded poor results. They were okay but when the show started, I forgot all about everything. Yes just rocked that night. I thought I'd miss Steve but I got over that real quick. Trevor was simply amazing.
The show produced a few new twists on old material. Roundabout was the closer and it shook me. Trevor's treatment of the old songs brought new life to them. Tony Kaye was superb. He is probably one of the most underrated keyboardists out there. Alan White had an amazing drive - the expressions on his face were inspirational. Jon had a whole new stage presence - engaging and warm. Chris was, well Chris. Always amazing.
