Ummmm .... This was at the War Memorial, not the Auditorium Theater.
It was a light house as I recall & it was yet another hockey house to hear the band in. My wife was pregnant with my son & so were were way up on the side & most of the place was there to hear the "hit with a bullet" and left early.
Unlike earlier shows, I don't have strong memories of this one. I remember Chris' bass solo/Amazing Grace piece, which I thought was touching. I remember Alan's drums were mixed with a lot of low frequency reverb. I was pretty techy about drums in those days & I thought that the idea of mixing in low freq reverb was a cheap stunt. I recall that his snare was miked pretty clearly, though.

I remember a buddy who attended the show with me flew on the same comercial flight the next day with the band. He was headed for Leesburg Va (outside DC) so they may have been headed to Va., Pa or therabouts.
It was a great show although only about half full in the War Memorial. Great sound! The crowd size surprised me since I caught them 5/24/84 in the same place (concert #8) and the show was a sell out. Quirky fans!.
Jon stands out in my mind that night. He was truly the Wizard!
