History has really put a damper on this album. The whole Rabin thing got old really fast. By the time of this show I was barely interested. I remember this show as being exceptionally loud, I mean really f****** loud. My tape of the show was maxed the whole time, so it sounded okay. But in all not a memorable or classic concert by any means.

I remember sitting up in the nosebleeds in the Coliseum. I also remembering a nasty downpour of rain waiting for us as we drove back home! Can't really remember much about the show (I was 17 at the time), but it was my first Yes concert.

I remember the Oakland show being fantastic. I hated the Big Generator album at the time, but remember the band putting on a very energetic and tight performance that night -- despite Jon's staggeringly off-key vocals in "Heart of the Sunrise," which were mercilessly immortalized in the Westwood One radio broadcast of that tour and later on Disk Four of the "YesYears" set.

The band seemed a bit more tense, perhaps since the music critics in San Francisco have never been very kind to the band.
