As I was leaving a guy complained they didn't play enough 90125, I told him "Its a Business, Talk's on the shelves." I have to dig out the tape I made of The Chris Squire Experiment, 25 Aug. 1992. Squire to White "So do you want to join the band or shall I throw you out the Window" and Billy Sherwood playing mostly guitar parts, a bass duet (I found it unbelievable when they did it on eight string basses in CSE), keyboards, occasional percussion, singing possibly higher than Anderson. Now Isee what the Experiment is about. I hope no one will be offended by that heresy. BTW, which religion promises that Hitler and Gandhi will end up in the same place for afterlife? Point, politically Chris Squire has accommodated and controlled the direction on the business. Musically Rabin and Anderson are creating a whole new era, and from a person that was initially cold to Talk.

The radio broadcast required you get a wrist band at the gate and proceed to a fenced area 40'X40' next to the mixers. I waited until after Intermission when they tore down the fence to try the radio. I liked it the highs were clearer, not that some sibilant ssss were needed, and Kayes keyboard parts were louder. Not a different mix just equalization difference, transmitter, radio, headphones.

I liked the musical twists in I am Waiting, its a thing they do on every tour alter meter, alter pitch, alter volume/distort, and pull right back musically correct. Gives the illusion of *almost out of control* but you got to give to them for perfection of brevity to make a point.

Didn't hear any mistakes Tony Kaye is getting better, Jon still plays the fake guitar part and the kids still fall for it. Squire must have wiped/borrowed that graceful arm arched overhead one legged pose from Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull. Rabin was playing it cool his hands did all his work. Alan White never goes as far out on a rhythmic limb as Bruford, it's just a matter of taste, I like White better.

Rabin put the Star Spangled banner into the encore it would have been nice to have the French National Anthem too, Its in the 1812 overture. Quick which Yes tune did Squire incorporate a bass part from the 2nd Hungarian Rhapsody? It was much better than the Union Tour which I thought was slowed down by the large cast. Did I say that the first time I saw Yes they were doing Broadway Show tunes?

Every time I see Yes something with a large no *LARGE* emotional quotient happens, I am Waiting.

BTW, don't flame me over this opinion of a show write a better one. Don't rant about what or who didn't play, start your own band. It's a business. If you want to talk religion, Northern Exposure had a shaman looking for White myths. Their answer was movies are our religion, I on the other hand think it's TV. James T. Kirk father out of wedlock, Wharf father out of Wedlock, Jean Luc Picard thought he was ... I honestly like everything but Paul in the New Testament. Jon always kicks in his $.02 on religion but backs off when the natives get restless after all it's a business;-).
