In the 1980s, I never quite grasped the distance between the Generators and Troopers. It finally came home during the San Diego stop of the Union tour, when a pair of the, shall we say, `younger generation' sitting behind me started raving loudly about Mr Rabin's guitar wizardry ... all the way through `And You And I'. Being an old-timer, I was both angry and mystified.
