YesFest '91 was held at University City Sheraton in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Friday and Saturday, July 12 and 13, 1991.

This show was great! Bruford and White did a dual solo that was amazing! They were so tight together. Absolute professionals.

Awaken was the highlight by far.

I also went to the "YesFest" which was a big dissapointment. I'm not sure what I expected but this was not it. Trevor Rabin showed up and looked at us as geeks (he was right..but still). Someone handed him a guitar and he refused to play it, saying that if he did play, the bootleg would be for sale later that day. It was pretty funny and probably true. The "fest" was really just a large room of non Yes fans selling all their burned bootlegs.

They replaced Long Distance Runaround with Saving My Heart! Yech! :-(

Other than that travesty, another excellent show. Hold On was also dropped for the second leg of the tour, making for a slightly shorter concert. Our seats were in the 2nd level, so I got the full effect of the lights and staging this time. It was pretty cool, especially during Awaken. But all things considered, I enjoyed the front row seats for the 4/16/91 show more. :-)

I somehow knew when I was walking out of the arena that this was the last time I would be seeing the "Super Yes" eight man lineup. It was wonderful while it lasted - I'm glad I was able to see three shows. But I knew regardless of who was in the band, that if Yes continued, wonderful music would result.

I was at the 7/12, 1991 Phila. show. They played very well, but I remember being distracted by some unruly fans who were later escorted from the premises. They weren't bothering me too much, but everyone else around us. The next day we went to Yesfest '91 at the Sheraton in Phila. There were alot of vendors, many selling bootlegs and most of the band members made appearances. Hopefully there will be a Yesfest '98 if the band does indeed stage an upcoming summer tour. HINT HINT!!
