ms This was by far the worst Yes show I have ever seen. Too many guys on stage. Bad sound. A waste of money if you ask me. The only saving grace to that whole evening were those 2 chicks that took me home with them. Talk about a "Union"! Mark Harkins My roommate's brother worked at a ticket outlet, so we got tickets 2nd row, center stage. They didn't play a lot of the old songs I was hoping to hear, but it was a good mix between the old and new stuff. To sit that close to so many of the musicians who have made Yes what they are was truely a magical experience. I was worried that the Union concept was strained just based on the stage layout... Wakeman, Howe and Bruford were on the right, with Rabin and White and Kaye on the left, but the concept actually worked well. I haven't seen many concerts, but I can say this.... I don't think I can top this experience, it was AWESOME. Mike Kearney This outdoor venue was the first time I was able to get to a Yes concert where Bill Bruford, Rick Wakeman, and Steve Howe were all part of the band. I got the feeling that it was the same for a lot of the audience. The ampitheater was packed with more people than I had ever seen there since it opened. Both Yes and the audience had a blast. Excellent Show! |
