Erik I remember this concert vividly (probably due to the orange sunshine). Back then, Music Hall had rock concerts on a regular basis. The acoustics there were excellent. I was 16 and went to the concert with my best friends, Jay and Chris. We were up in the balcony, right in the middle which always seemed to be so important back then. I think Jay still has his ticket stub. I don't remember the set list but I think they played all the songs from Fragile and most from the Yes Album. There was an intermission and you could visit other friends at the show. Maybe trade a toke or two, talk about the songs just played and anticipate what they might play in the second half of the show. Jon Anderson had this guitar stand that was like a lazy susan. It had multiple guitars on it and he could turn it and pick whichever one he wanted to play. Chris Squire was wearing these boots that went above the knee. At least that's what I recall but who knows, it may have been the sunshine. Still ranks as one of the best concerts I saw in high school |
