Tomas Ahlin I'm 17 and have missed the oppertunity to watch older tours, but I've seen some DVD:s with material from Keys to Ascension, The Ladder tour and Symphonic live and not counting the extra feeling with waching them live I can assure you that this is the greatest tour, at least from Keys to Ascension and forward. Much old material and few new, especially from Fragile which from my opinium is there greatest album. The only weakness with this show is Squire's Bass solo when it's way too long. Daniel Reichberg Quite possibly the best concert I've ever attended! My third Yesshow (after OYE and Symphonic) and the best. My first Yesshow with Wakeman on stage. His presence brought extra weight, which Khoroshev or Brislin could never match. "Magnification"...I'd never heard it live before. Rick duplicated the orchestra perfectly. "Don't Kill the Whale...a true crowd pleaser. "South Side of the Sky"...why on Earth hasn't it been played for so many years??!! The middle part with Chris's harmonies...my God! Finally, at long long last, I got to hear my favourite song "Awaken" live. I was so astonished that I could not clap after the song. I just stood there trying to grasp the fact...or was it a dream? After the show, I kissed the ground upon which it all happened! Standing up is always better than sitting down during a rock concert. Fantastic to see so many youngsters and Metalheads jumping and shaking to "Roundabout"! T-shirts sold out, doubtlessly many won-over fans and friends. Many other great bands as well, including Uriah Heep, Masterplan and ACT. Thank you all for such a magic evening! And God bless Chris Squire - the God of Rock! Aratan I saw the show last night at Sweden Rock Festival in Solvesborg and it was great!! Pretty much the same show as in Nottingham. Jon was in a great mood, all smiles, and he sang great. Chris was very glad as well, and played fantastic, Rick ruled and Alan was pounding away in a great way, Steve played well but seemed a little bit out of it, tired or something. Heart of the sunrise, And you and I, The Fish were all great moments, the whole thing was good except it was too short..... |
