Just a note to say Thank you! The last time I saw the band was at the De Montford Hall in Leicester in 1971 when serving at RAF Cranwell and I seem to recall meeting Jon's sister in Grantham? It was good then and age has not changed them. Imagine my surprise when the concert in Jakarta was cancelled and Perth was selected as an alternative. I was second in the que the next morning and from memory the average age of those joining me would about 55! I even took my 22 year old daughter along to further her music education. Let's hope that I don't have to wait quite so long the next time.

Strange seeing this lot again after so long (last time was the "Yuggles" tour!) Impressed at the number of people there given that this was an unplanned replacement gig Depressed that they were all like me, harking back to distant youth JA's speaking voice still squeaky RW taller than I remembered, and cheated with programming during Awaken!!! No way were his fingers playing the riffs! SH & AW as skilled and competent as ever ( although I still prefer BB's drumming at the start of Heart) CS - what can I say? part showman, part buffoon - the triple necked bass (Awaken) was totally unnecessary ( I was reminded of the spitting image puppet of Mike Rutherford on Land of Confusion)- I didn't see him touch the top neck
All good fun, looking forward to the next time (40th, 50th anniversary tour)
Cheers

Well rounded sound from YES as expected. Classically trained pianist Rick Wakeman is still the supreme keyboardist with beautifully crafted and clean solos from his bank of 11 keyboards. A concert to remember!!

Yes played a blinder tonight in Perth.
Excellent sound, great energy from the guys anda venue far more appropriate for a band that will touch the heart and lift the spirit than the Vodafone Arena in Melbourne ( I was there too and it was a struggle ).
A humble, heartfelt thanks to Alan, Steve, Chris, Rick, Jon and Jane ( for her elegant hand movements and centered resence ). You made a fan proud !
I pray the promoter made money on this and we may see you again very soon.
