What a great show!! Smallish venue, opened with Siberian Khatru
and never looked back. Steve was in rare form and Benoit David
did a fantastic job on all the vocals. This was my 5th concert in 30 years and they did some songs I had never heard live. BOTH sides
of close to the edge and all the classics. Oliver Wakeman did a good job filling his dad's massive shoes but had a few slip-ups, nothing major. What a treat to see this tour in such an intimate setting.
Sound levals were great, loud but not too much. Squire and White kept everything on firm footing with precission. I hope Jon is well
to tour for the 40th anniversary. Long live YES!!

Well, I waited eight years to see Yes again, last time was the Masterworks tour in Pittsburgh, and I was not disappointed. I've been attending Yes concerts since 1974 (TFTO) and have seen almost every lineup.

Steve Howe and Chris Squire are the reason I love Yes music and they were fantastic! Steve especially was playing as if he still had something to prove, and he once again proved that he is the masterful guitarist that we've always remembered. Chris Squire remains the consummate performer and his bass was as clear and powerful as always. I think he lives to perform! Both Steve and Chris were very animated onstage and I felt that Steve was enjoying himself more on this tour than he had in years.

I do miss Jon, as he is the voice and spirit of Yes, but Benoit did a great job and I wish him all the success he deserves. Plus, we got to hear some tunes that would not have been performed if Jon were with the band. I wish him a speedy recovery and hope that they all return to the studio soon and give us a new CD and a tour to follow. For now, this Yes lineup is fine, because the songs are being performed with great energy and passion, as they were meant to be heard. Well done!

The set list was a nice surprise as well. True, they will always play the classics that most of the fans expect to hear, but there were a number of unexpected tracks, Astral Traveler, Machine Messiah and Tempus Fugit, to name three.

During "All Good People" those seated closest to me were treated to an incident that we were not expecting... from out of nowhere, a large cat appeared in the audience and began springing about, clawing up everyone as he frantically looked for an exit. How he got in is anyone's guess, but I think Chris Squire's bass pedals are what set him off! Anyway, after that surprise, we all settled back and enjoyed the show.

I think I'll head up to Cleveland next for an encore performance. Thank you, Steve, Alan and Chris, for putting this show on the road, Oliver and Benoit, keep up the good work. Those are big shoes to fill but you're both doing fine.

Last night was very good. I looked forward to the favorites as well as the songs that were revived. Someday I hope to hear It Can Happen live again. The texture of the music was there, and the playing was right on for the most part. The guy next to me drove in from Pittsburgh so I felt lucky to see HSW&DW in my town. If I had a vote I would recommend that these guys keep touring next year in this format whenever all of them have time in their schedule. The fans will come out! This was about the same size crowd as the Big Generator tour which was held in a convention center exhibition arena a few blocks from this venue years ago. This is a good venue. It would also be good to see these guys with a Symphony orchestra in the summer for a pops concert - with 18,000 in attendance - families too.
