The theatre “Curtain Strips” with a capacity of 2500 seats is completely sold out. Yes several generations of Italian fans there are (like me with children and wives to follow). As I entered I went over to the mixer where I could see the list of songs in the evening, which we list below:
1) Siberian Khatru 2)Your Move – All Good People 3) Tempus Fugit 4) Onward 5) Astral Traveller 6) And You And I 7) Steve Solo 8) Owner Of A Lonely Heart 9)South Side Of The Sky
10) Machine Messiah 11) Heart Of The Sunrise 12) Roundabout 13)Yours Is No Disgrace.
As you can see there are many pieces where they go over their history, but unfortunately nothing of the period Rock-Prog. Above all nobody of long and famous the suite (Close. Reaviling. Ritual. Gates of Delirium Awaken).
However, the band played the whole concert with great energy. The best pieces for me were those traits from the album "Drama" in particular "Machine Messiah.
On all the great master Steve Howe, needless to say, simply amazing. Very well the two new ones. Oliver very precise and measured. Benoit has a voice very similar to Jon .. Of course it will never be the same thing. Alan and Chris still sound with a lot of energy.
The concert last night was very nice, but after the concert was finished a bit of gloom has descended upon me, thinking that maybe this was the last time I could see the our beloved band.
Above all my thoughts turned to who was not there, and has made a huge contribution so that the Yes have become a legend of Rock – Prog. Especially my thoughts turned to Jon, his voice clear, poet, visionary, eternal optimist, true soul of Yes, but even the great Rick, an extraordinary musical talent, playful person and full of humor. In Particular my thoughts turned to with indelible memories of their concerts to which I was lucky enough to attend, by the legendary “Topo Tour” 22 April 1974, to that of the Union Tour June 13 1991, to that of "Full Circle Tour” on July 11, 2003, the last with the traditional classic line-up, up to yesterday evening, which I think is probably the last original member still with some.
This for me is cause for great sadness when I think that this extraordinary band with his music has accompanied me on the journey of my life since I was a young student, until now. However, I apologize for these personal considerations, but I think that only someone in her life was a true and passionate fans can understand. However a great greeting to all Yes fans around the world and "long life to Yes".
Ciao

What can i say? Thanks to exist!!Yes music is music for body and soul,it's a style that never ends, three or five it's the same;Benoit is not John, but is a very good singer and the plays of voices with Chris and Steve were really wonderful.Oliver was a little bit serious, but the fusion of the sound was incredible.I agree for "South side", but also "Heart of the sunrise" and "Machine Messiah":what a delight!!! Class is class, forever YES!!!
