This was my 48th show and it still knocks me out how great these guys are!Chris was as powerful as always.Steve to me is still the best in the biz.Alan still provides the steady beat.
David and Oliver fill in nicely I still would like to see Jon back it is his true gig. The venue was outstanding 3rd time I,m seeing this line up. Getting better all the time.Set list was good love to hear Astral Traveler!!Can,t wait to see them again 49 and 50 just around the bend.If you are lucky enough to go see YES enjoy them they are truly one of the greatest band ever!!! Thank you YES for all the great years of music you have given the world keep it up!!!!!

I drove up from Philly for this show, primarily because the venue offered a standing room only, GA pit up front. I hate going to shows where you have to sit. The GA did not disappoint, and the show was a great performance from this lineup. Sure, the absence of Jon and Rick bring the overall sensory feeling of the show down a bit, but it also gives Steve Howe and Chris Squire more time in the spotlight. This is the 3rd show I've seen from this lineup, and Benoit seems to be fitting in better. His stage presense is better, and he no longer tries to imitate Jon's movements. I think he realizes he's not in a YES cover band anymore, but the real thing, so he can act more himself rather than pretending to be someone else. I still continue to be disappointed with Oliver Wakeman. While he provides the solid keyboard fills needed to flesh out the music, he doesn't bring anything new to the material. Maybe he's not allowed to, but I wish he would get to stretch out on his own and add his own personality or imprint to the music. I also feel Alan White, other than his solo on "Astral Traveler", is not as dominant as he once was. He used to just kill on "And You And I", and while he is playing it solidly, doesn't really stand out the way he used to. Nonetheless, Howe and Squre make up for all the shortcomings, and provide a great show. And if it was the whole band, they wouldn't get to play in places like Penn's Peak, which was just an abosolutely beautiful venue. I'd go there again in a hearbeat.

I'm not going to lie here. I'm a heavy metal guy and have been since grade school and I still am at age 41. But, for some reason this band just does it for me big time. This is the fourth time since 1999 that I've seen YES. Twice with Jon and now twice with Benoit. Anyone who claims to not want to see YES because Jon isn't there is disillusioned. Benoit is as good or better. You certainly read that correctly and I stand by it fully. I saw YES and ASIA last July in Upper Darby, PA. and I loved that show because I'm also a ginormous ASIA fan since their beginnings in 1982. But, I digress. This was an amazing show, but the Penn's Peak show even topped that one. This band is as tight as a frog's ass in the water. Everything was flawless! Smiles everywhere from the band and the greatest guitar/keyboard duels since Yngwie Malmsteen/Jens Johanssen from the mid to late 1980's. Only YES did it first and YES did it and still does it the best! YES may be a progressive band, but they totally bring it live! They rock...hard! I love them and will see them live every chance I get. Thank you Benoit, Steve, Oliver, Chris, Alan, and your crew for making it a perfect Friday night! Many happy returns! The drive home in the snow? That's a different story...

What a great show! There was snow on the way but worth to drive to be there with my 14 year old son. I saw Chris Squire's one year old daughter behind the speaker. His wife was holding the baby who was born premature. thanks god she looks health and she has chubby face with baby fat on the cheeks. Her pink earmuffs makes her very cute. David Benoit and Chris Squire were trying to play with the baby during the show, giving smiles to the her. Benoit's singing Machine Messia makes me to forget about Jon Anderson for a moment who never sings Drama albums. I have seen Steve Howe 7 times, he is getting older but he plays better and better. My favorite yes show was union concert of 1991, I hope all the past and present members get together and play together sometime.
If you go the the show, don't forget to buy autographed Chis, Alan's, Venoit's CDs. Steve Howe's un signed CDs which I arleady have are on sale also. Especially Chris' Xmas album and Benoit's solo CD are great. Benoit's voice does not like Jon Anderson's on this CD, it's progressive just like yes.

Truly An Incredible Evening. One Of The Finest Bands Ever At A Very Unique Venue. The Talent Of The Current YES Lineup Stretches As Far As The View From The Penns Peak Balcony, Virtually Limitless. The Musicianship Of Alan, Chris, Oliver & Steve Are Second To None As Are The Vocals Of Benoit. While Jon Is Missed Do Not Let That Keep You From Attending A YES Show If You Get The Chance. I Have Seen Them Numerous Times Over The Past 20-30 Years & Last Nights Show Was The MOST IMPRESSIVE Yet. Benoit Has Proven To Be MORE Than Just A Substitute For Jon As His Performance Last Evening Along With The Rest Of The Boys Was Truly Stellar. If You Are A Fan Of Progressive Music You Owe It To Yourself To Catch This Tour If You Can. To Sum It All Up, If You Are Unsure Of Attending A Show On This Tour You Need To Vote A Resounding YES !!! You Won't Regret It.

What can I say, except awesome. Probably my 20th Yes show over the years dating back to '79. After having seen them play arena/stadium shows, its great to see them playing smaller venues. The new lineup rocks as does the set list which includes a few Drama tunes. There seemed to be a few minor issues with mixing as stated on some of the earlier tour posts, but it may have been due to the fact that I was direct line to Steve's amp/monitors and heard heavy guitar. On the plus side, I got to see and hear that he is still better than ever, switching effortlessly from the slide guitar to the Line 6 to the ES150. Chris' bass shook the walls (as always) as he provided excellent harmonies with Benoit. The guys look like they're still having fun after all these years. Bottom line, don't miss it.

Sold out show at Penn's Peak and the band did not dissapoint. I came to Yes a bit later in life, saw them for the first time in 1984, have seen them 15-20 times since. They are always a delight but tonight ranked as one of my all-time favorite shows. Best version of Yours is No Disgrace I have ever heard. Ditto for Starship Trooper. Love hearing material from Drama. I know some of you may be holding back from seeing the band due to Jon's absence. This is the 3rd time I have seen this lineup and trust me, it is worth it. The band is as tight as they have ever been. Enjoy.

I arrived a bit skeptical about what I was going to see but after the Firebird Suite and Siberian Khatru, that all went away.... I have seen Yes seven times in my life and each time I was never disappointed. The talent no matter from past or the present ALWAYS shines! The highlight of the night for me was South Side of the Sky.
