chuckie 26 22 Saturday, August 2, 2014 5:38 AM Was a student at LSU.Waited in general admission line in the heat for hours. When the doors opened we raced across the ice cold floor(barefoot) to the third row. When the lights went down and the strains of Firebird Suite could be heard in the rafters.....in quadrophonic sound! We have Heaven! Jeff I was 17 years old when I saw this concert. I have never seen a more well-produced show in my life...not even Pink Floyd! My strongest memory of the show was when the hippies all jumped up and started dancing in the aisles during Siberian Khatru! PURE MAGIC!!! Mike Almost 29 years and 1 month to the day I remember standing outside waiting to get in and the doors opening and a mad rush to get in free. It was great because the girl I went with is now my wife and she will be attending the concert in LA 8/23/02. I think YES will recoup the money because I paid less than 10 dollars for a ticket at that time. The concert was GREAT!! good memories Ken My best memory of this [CTTE] tour was that I saw them in the 9/72 show in New Orleans at the Municipal Auditorium. This concert was the 1st concert ever played in quadraphonic sound. I believe only a few groups even spent the money to do this, one of which was Emerson, Lake and Palmer. They also videotaped this show. |
