My first time was the Nov 9th 1972 show at Norfolk Scope.Vic Johansen is correct.I had forgotten about the backup band but it was a group named Tranquility.If I remember it seemed they had about 4 or 5 guituar players.I actually have a tape of this concert but don't know if it can be restored.I snuck in a cassette player.I've lost the cassette but had recorded it onto an 8-track.A couple of years ago I had someone try and record it onto another tape but the 8-track just became all unwound.Now I just have a plastic bag of tape.I remember Jon talking just before they went into And You And I and saying it was a song about getting rid of all the Nixons in this world.What balls I thought to make a statement like that here in this Navy town in 1972.

The Scope show was not quite as good [as the Virginia Beach 03/04, 1972 show]. I recall that the sound system was inferior and that, at that time, I was still missing Bruford. I believe the opening act was a band called Tranquility.
