Once again we were lucky to have the visit of this legendary progressive rock band, a group that anyone that considers a fan of this genre, must see if the chance is present. I witness a show of theirs when they were in the 35th anniversary tour, I don't exactly remember the year, but well, that was a memorable and totally exciting show. After that moment, they had comeback two or three times, being the last one last year with Asia, but for x or y reason I could not attend, so when I knew they were coming again, I did not hesitate in attending. And since they appeared in the stage I felt goose-bumps, like if that was the first time, I was nervous and I actually wanted to cry, something strange, unique and memorable.



So the concert kicked off with "Yours is no Disgrace", a song that brought me even more emotions, I was actually really really excited, I felt like a child with a new toy. And well, since that first song I felt impressed because oh man, no matter the years they are still Gods, they still play with a wonderful quality, they still have the technique and more important, the still feel the music, and that can be spread and appreciated by the crowd. However, I must say that in some moments they played a bit slower than usual, so the years have to pay some day, it is life's law. Important also to mention that for this tour they have Jon Davison, a man that in my opinion, fits in very well in the band, reaching high and difficult tunes, and spreading peace and tranquility, he also has presence on stage.

The next song was "Tempus Fugit" with that Squire bass lines that I like a lot. With "I've seen all good people" the audience was touched, we sang a lot with all our hearts, we all had huge smiles. That's the charm of bands like Yes, they still please their strictest fans. Little by little the members said some words, they didn't hide their emotions and their happiness for being here once again, so didn't we. The concert continued with a Simon & Garfunkel cover of "America", a song I like but honestly don't love. Later the band left the stage for Steve Howe, who is a formidable player, seems the guitar has some kind of charm of something, because the sound he produces is simply wonderful. What a delight to listen to "Bach Cantata 140", "Mood for a Day" and "The Clap" in a row. Of course, when he finished we could not help but standing up and cheer him loud.

Howe stayed and Davison joined, together played "Leaves of Green", which is a sweet melody, but definitely not the most memorable. So the complete band returned, now in order to perform the whole "Fly From Here" suite, which lasts over 20 minutes. Some of the people in the audience didn't know the album, but at the end of the show felt very please with this particular performance, maybe the skepticism made them doubt about it quality, but well, I honestly like a lot that album, and listening to the suite live was pure pleasure to me, and a proof that no matter their age, they still have goals to reach, quality to compose, and magic to perform. In my opinion, this was a highlight of the night.
"Wonderous Stories" is a classic in Yes' repertoire, but it is a song that I've never been fan of, I know it has its charm, but for some reason it does not do anything to me, however, I still sang it. In the other hand, "Heart of the Sunrise" is a powerful song that has prevailed as one of my very favorite of Yes ever, so listening to it was a true shock, despite this was the song where I noticed more their slower rhythm. The excitement did not finish with that song, because right away they played "Awaken" which made me scream since the first piano notes, because this is a song I totally love and had not listened live before.
