I had gone to the show with some close friends from High School. Wanted to see Yes, and they were great. I was a big Poco fan and can still remember the energy they generated. Nobody but Rusty Young make pedal steel played through Leslie speaker make it sound like Hammond Organ!

oliastales, I don't have the whole show. I just have the Starship Trooper. A friend of mine sent me many bootlegs on cassette of YES concerts. Although he mostly sent me complete shows, that tape has a mixture of different YES concerts. The tape also has Awaken from Philadephia which is off the charts incredible! - 9/12/78 and some other amazing live classics

This was my second time seeing the band (after the DeLand Fla show 11/21/71). The concert was sold out. We had not purchased advanced tickets. We managed to buy 3 from scalpers. We paid $8.00 for one $10.00 for the other two. Scalpers were extreemly scarse. The rumor floating around by showtime was that one person had paid $55.00 for a single ticket (a fortune in 1973). Poco, the opening act, was an unexpected treat. The Yes show, besides being great, was the LOUDEST rock show I've ever attended. My ears rang for a full day after seeing them that evening.

The Remembering

Last Night I listened to the Starship Trooper from this show. Just amazing, better than Yessongs. WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had missed the Jacksonville show back in Sept 1972. I saw Deep Purple at the Coliseum at the end of Aug and for some reason couldn't get back up there for the Yes show. Back in the summer of 72', I was beginning to really get into the band, but by the time I finally saw them in April 1973, I could appreciate just how unique and fantastic they actually were.

Opening Act was Poco, This show was the first time I had seen Yes, I had traveled from Daytona Beach. Since then I have seen Yes on every subsequent Fla. tour. 10 separate occassions.
