The concert in Leipzig was my first Yes concert ever. I was 11 back then. My first concert was Mike Oldfield where I was really far from the stage. Now this time I stood in the first row right in front of Chris´feet. My dad had been backstage before the show started (there were some technical problems and the show started with delay). He told Jon about me and my brother and so Jon and Billy waved at us from time to time, because we were maybe one of little really young fans. It was a magical experience. I really enjoyed the guys playing the tracks from my favourite CD. Unfortunately The Ladder and OYE were the only CDs I had that time and so I couldn´t really enjoy some of the tracks that were unknown to me, I mean I was 11 and thats not an age, where you should get to know new YES epics live:-)
And I couldn´t hear anything after the concert because I was not more than 1 metre from the next box:-)

This concert was my second concert after the Open Your Eyes concert in Berlin two years ago.

At first, I must apologize for some people I saw at the concert. If they like to drink some beer they better go into a pub and do not disturb the really YES fans by going from one side to the other balancing a beer. Furthermore some people thought this was a football ground and not a YES concert. They roared at the wrong time and often they dont know if a song was finished or not. However - think positive !

The concert was great - the band was great - and besides some funny people - the atmosphere was fantastic. The setlist was the same as for the other concerts I like much more the old songs ( Awaken - AndYouAndI), also the new songs were played brilliant (especially Homeworld)

After the show we went backstage and get luck. I hope I'am now the only person in the world with an over 20 years old YES - MC from the East-German label Amiga, signed by Jon, Steve and Chris. Especially Chris was very friendly, I asked him how he liked the audience, and I'am afraid that his answer was a diplometic one.

At the end I have a vision: At some time in future YES will play in our concert hall in Leipzig and they celebrate Awaken with the organ standing there. I hope my dream comes true some time.
