Great band, great musicians, great show, what more should I say !!! And it was the first concert of progressive rock band of such world rank here in Bulgaria!
The only thing that spoiled the event was the poor sound in the Winter Palace of Sports, I still don’t know what made the organizers to change the venue instead the previously announced Palace of Culture. I have attended 3 more concerts in last 3 years (Whitesnake, Page&Plant and Deep Purple) in Winter palace of Sports , and all of them had poor sound.
But Yes did all the best to sound as good as they can and they did perfectly well:)
Steve was amazing, both in acoustic and electric parts - a real guitar virtuoso, Chris was solid and spectacular, Alan drummed very impressive and Billy took his part seriously too, especially in tracks from album 90125 (good job, Billy), Igor fitted well to the rest of the band, showing that he can walk even in Great Ricks (Wakeman ) shoes (listen to Awaken…magnificent improvisation). And what about Jon , he is one of my favorite singers in rock music, he singed even better than I expected - Jon you are really the right man to sing in progressive band - thank you so much for this emotional night which you and your fellow members of Yes gave to us - fans in Bulgaria:))
The light show was one of the most exciting ones I ever saw and the performing was one of the peak performances I ever heard, this kind of music should be performed only perfectly, any other kind of performance just doesn’t fit good( its not heavy metal or disco at last). And the audience was much more mature than on every other concert I have attended before, age above 25 and more.
The overall impression was really great and now we have seen another rock legend playing live in Sofia, the waiting was long ( 30 years) but its really worth it ;)
At the end let me say "God bless you all fans of the best progressive band ever - Yes !!!"

Sensational and stunning performance!
Location: Sofia, Winter Stadium (not NPC). Audience: 2000-3000, all of whom adults. Sound: not the best, but gradually improved during the show. Lights: could be better, except animations (which were great). Setlist:... U&I, Long Distance, All Good People... Bonuses: Owner & Roundabout Music & performance: UNBELIEVABLE
I was absolutely shocked to find out that Yes sounds so incredible in front of relatively indifferent audience in an obscure Eastern Europe country! I still couldn't believe it was not a tape recording at least 10 years old. NO, IT WAS NOW, AND IT WAS GREAT! Jon is so loud, clear and inspired like he always been, Mr. Howe was the best guitar player I ever heard - with a "mood..."(literally), brilliant and perfect; the rhythm section was amazing and expressive, Bill so smooth, only Igor was maybe in debt a little.
"Yes" played for around 2 hours without a minute for rest, with not even a single mistake, always on time (and it was live!), in perfect harmony, showing me the values in rock music I always think have died somewhere in the 70-ties. But this performance I hardly will ever forget. So full of light and astonishing!
I've been on great rock gigs not a couple of times, but it definitely was the best live performance EVER in Bulgaria, and I was really blessed to be there. Time was on their side, with their springing maturity and excellence!
My English betrays me. Jon, Steve, Chris, Bill, Alan , Igor - thank you! Glory to ye!
