Jon Jones Saturday, October 16, 2021 12:50 AM I was there at 1 of the shows, got frisked at the door & they found a brand new Lid. They pulled it out twirled it around & said " do you wanna stay or do ya wanna go". I said stay so they kept my weed!! I went for ELP but I think Yes was really good. ( I bought The Yes Album ) Patrick Sweeton Monday, January 2, 2017 2:17 AM Yes, I was 15 as well when I saw this show. We were sitting on the floor about 30 ft from the stage. There were no seats in the front. My friends and I were not that familiar with Yes and to say we were blown away was an understatement!! We all were there to see ELP perform Tarkus which blew us away!! Very sad that we lost E&L this year!! That night was one of the best concert experiences of my life!! Shaun Wise Tuesday, November 25, 2014 12:11 PM My Father and a few of his buddies were at that show and I would love to be able to see that footage if at all possible Arthur. Hed Gilboa Tuesday, February 4, 2014 1:31 PM Arthur - Is your film available? Any chance you'd allow me to sync audio to it? Michael H Arthur, have you posted that 8mm footage anywhere? Arthur I got to see probably one of the greatest concerts of my life, when Yes opened up for Emerson, Lake and Palmer, at a small little theater called 'The Easttown'. At the time, I was the only one of the group of friends that I went with, that had heard Yes. I kept promising them that they were going to be amazed. ELP is a tough band to challenge musically, but Yes put on a show that wowed every single one of them! I also got to take an 8mm movie camera into the show, and I've got about 12 precious minutes of a VERY young Yes. (Beautiful video, but unfortunately no sound). |
